Bacs Local Authority Direct Debit Challenge
The Bacs Direct Debit Challenge, which is open to all UK local authorities, has gained a credible reputation and is now widely recognised in the industry as an established benchmark for best practice.
In addition to quality, the awards have demonstrated the commitment by local authorities to satisfying their residents' needs, and recognises and rewards their achievements in promoting Direct Debit to their customers as the preferred method of payment.
This year, nine local authorities have been celebrating after being rewarded for their efforts at the Bacs awards ceremony held at the Institute of Revenue Rating and Valuation (IRRV) Conference in Brighton.
