Direct Debit Instructions and logos
Please note the EPS files can only be downloaded using a Mac. If you are a PC user they will download as PostScript files (.ps).
The standard Direct Debit Instructions (DDIs) have been designed to make it easy for customers to complete and for businesses and banks to process each payment automatically. Accordingly, all DDIs must follow the wording and the order of the information shown in the downloadable files above.
The files have been designed to enable them to be customised with an organisation's own details.
The guidelines for producing a DDI must be followed at all times and the design of all DDs must be approved in writing by an organisation's sponsoring bank before they can be issued.
The guidelines on how to use the Direct Debit logo must be followed at all times. Organisations must obtain the written approval of their bank before they can publish the logo in their documents.
