How will I be scored?
Each month, a score will be awarded by Bacs to each local authority that has registered for the League. This score is calculated primarily on the basis of Direct Debit take up among council tax and business rates payers, with the most points won by authorities increasing their level of Direct Debit take up over the given month. Actual percentage figures are converted into numerical scores so as to protect confidential data and you will only compete against other authorities who have registered for the Direct Debit Challenge League.
Extra points will be awarded for the marketing campaign strategy, promotional activities, literature material and results submitted to d.perry@bacsservices.co.uk at Bacs, for details of these elements view the scoring matrix.

In addition, monthly bonus points will be awarded to recognise exceptional achievement in qualitative areas. We will brief you on how these points can be won via monthly emails and through the League website itself.
