Bacs Family Finance Tracker

Your proven national insight

The Bacs Family Finance Tracker research began in 1988 and provides a measure of consumer’s financial behavior, which has developed overtime into a fascinating overview of the money habits of the GB population.

The research includes:

  • Banking behavior
  • Spending and payment patterns
  • Changing attitudes to money
  • Adoption of new technologies such as internet shopping and digital TV
  • Changes and differences in income
  • Media consumption.

The research is representative of the GB population and is carried out throughout the year on our behalf by Ipsos-MORI, with results available on an ongoing basis.

Below are some examples of previous research reports. The areas covered in these reports are not definitive by any means. They simply give a flavour of the information we have available.
