​​Giving something back through marketing Direct Debit

We feel privileged to have raised over half a million pounds for charity since we launched our first national collective marketing campaign in 2011. Our marketing campaigns link messages to consumers about spreading costs and keeping control of finances with much needed cost efficiencies for participating billers and, where possible, donations to charity. Freedom Guaranteed, the Big Break in 2013/14, and Driving Donations in 2011/12, have together raised awareness for Direct Debit and contributions to good causes, benefiting many hundreds of UK based charity organisations.

Supporting the local community

We are committed to building mutually supportive relationships with the wider community and actively encourage our employees to engage in this process, which is why we run an Employee Volunteering Programme. This is designed to help with local projects and initiatives and all our employees are given paid leave each year to volunteer in worthwhile causes or to fundraise for a charity. Additionally, Bacs supports a Matched Giving Initiative for members of staff - this matches funds raised for registered charities.
